Three lives: how revival works

MechanicsRevivalChests

“Three lives” means three revivals per match. If a player with a cheaper entry than yours eats you, you’re back in the same spot 6 seconds later with your money intact. You pay for it in mass.

🛡️ Who revival protects you from

Crybble Wars has one map for everyone. Free players share it with players who came in for 1, 30 or 100 CBW. Free and paid players are transparent to each other and don’t eat each other. Among paid players, revival stops someone with a cheap entry from walking off with the money of someone who paid more.

A bot always eats you for good, whatever your entry. So the three lives work on 30 and 100 CBW entries.

👀 How to tell who you are facing

A player with a paid entry has an amount under their name. It isn’t just their entry: it includes the chests they picked up. Bots have no amount. Players from the other group look semi-transparent: a free player sees paid players with a lock in the color of their entry (orange for 1 CBW, purple for 30, gold for 100), and a paid player sees free players with a green FREE lock.

⚖️ How much mass comes back

Your money stays with you in full. You pay in mass:

  • first revival: 80% of your mass at the moment of death
  • second: 60%
  • third: 40%

If you don’t grow between deaths, three revivals leave you with 80% × 60% × 40%, about 19% of your original mass. The player who ate you gets the mass, the points and the XP. No chest drops: your money comes back with you.

🔒 What is closed after a revival

You come back as a single bubble and can’t be eaten for 5 seconds. But you’re a target right away: everyone sees a red bullseye on the mini-map, with no quiet two minutes first. The exit and the shooting range are closed for 3 minutes.

A chest you pick up in those three minutes doesn’t count as your first of the match. If you took no chests before the revival, the five-minute countdown starts with a chest you take after those three minutes.

⚠️ When the lives don’t help

  • A bot ate you, or a player with the same or a more expensive entry. Your money drops onto the map as chests at once.
  • You’re out of revivals. The fourth death is final, whoever eats you.
  • You came in for 1 CBW or for free: these entries have no revivals. A free player has nothing to lose: there’s no money in their bubble.

Questions and answers

I ate a player and no chest dropped. Why? Their entry is more expensive than yours: they’ll be back in 6 seconds with their money. Or it was a bot, and bots carry no money.

I was eaten on a 30 CBW entry and came back in for 1 CBW. Can I take my chest? No. The chest with your money has a denomination of 30, so it’s locked for a 1 CBW entry.

I was eaten for good. Can I get my chest back? You can try: come in with an entry no lower than before and go back to the same spot. Chests aren’t shown on the mini-map, and every three and a half minutes a chest moves to a random point on the map. Another player may take it first.

How many revivals do I get in a new match? Three again: the count is per match.

The game is 18+ and doesn’t promise earnings. You can lose a paid entry and everything you picked up.
